Co-op Member-Owners, I’m excited to announce that the TPSS Board of Representatives election is now live! We have six candidates running for four seats on the Board. All TPSS member-owners are eligible to vote, you’ll just need to know your member number and the name on your membership. If you have any questions about either of those, ask at the register or customer service. We encourage all members to participate in the democratic process and make your voice heard through voting in these annual elections. It’s a huge part of what makes our co-op different than other grocery stores. Each candidate has an information page where you can read about their experience and interest in a Board seat. Candidates elected to the Board this year will continue in our second store expansion exploratory process. The Board has prepared a short explanation of the reasons why expansion is being considered. If you are curious about co-op governance and the Board in general, information including bylaws and policies can be found here. If you’re not currently a member-owner, this is great time to join! You’ll be eligible to vote in the election – and receive monthly discounts at the Co-op! – as soon as you join. As we discuss in our New Member Orientation sessions, we encourage participation in the Co-op from members no matter if they joined in 1983 or 2025.
