The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) is currently running a Visioning Study for the Takoma Junction area.
There are two opportunities for public feedback that we want members to be aware of and take advantage.
1. Take SHA’s Community Values Survey This survey will inform SHA what the community values in Takoma Junction and how they utilize it. June 10th is the deadline to complete the survey.
2. Attend One or Both of the SHA Community Meetings.
MDOT SHA will host community-wide workshops on June 4 and June 10 from 6:30-8:00pm, at the Takoma Park Seventh Day Adventist Church, located at 6810 Eastern Avenue, NW. The workshops will build off one another, so attending both is preferable if you are able. RSVP is requested but not required to attend. You will need to RSVP for each session individually, meaning completing one registration, then opening the link again to complete a second.
