Our Panel

Lori Hill – President and Co-Founder, Lake Effect Experiences. She is the former president of Sister Eden Media where she inspired followers to live more gently on Earth through her 160+ Youtube videos (@SisterEden). She spearheaded the effort to ban plastic straws in Takoma Park and she regularly picks up trash on Carroll Avenue, a street she adopted through the City’s Adopt a Spot anti-litter initiative.

Stephanie J. Miller – Founder of Zero Waste in DC and DC Reduces. She is the former Director of Climate Business at the International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. She is the author of Zero Waste Living, the 80/20 Way: The Busy Person’s Guide to a Lighter Footprint. She founded Zero Waste in DC where she reaches a wide audience through keynote presentations, learning events and household consultations.

Rini Saha is currently co-owner of FullFillery (Zero Waste Store) which sells package-free soaps, detergents, and personal care products. Rini started to volunteer in plastic reduction campaigns in DC, like banning styrofoam and banning plastic straws, after she taught a class as a high school teacher on plastic pollution.

Orly Keiner, a TPSS Co-op Board Member, will be moderating the conversation.
